Hurtigruten had hoped to visit IoM in September
A cruise operator that had been advertising a trip to the Isle of Man next month has cancelled the cruise due to coronavirus.
Hurtigruten included a stop in Douglas on its British Isles tour, despite the ongoing border closure to non-Manx residents.
However, the Norwegian firm has now cancelled a number of its cruises after more than 40 people onboard the MS Roald Amundsen, the vessel which had been due to come to the Island, tested positive for Covid-19.
The company had said the visit to Manx shores would include a tree planting and beach cleaning session.
