An Onchan man is preparing to climb nine UK peaks in three consecutive days.
Starting today (19 July) Gary Thomas will attempt to scale the Yorkshire Three Peaks.
The Cruse Bereavement Care Isle of Man volunteer will then attempt to take on the National Three Peaks challenge and the Welsh Three Peaks challenge afterwards.
By Wednesday he should have walked 64 miles, climbed almost 7,000 meters and driven over 1,000 miles between the Yorkshire Dales, the Scottish Highlands and the Brecon Beacons in South Wales.
