TT 2023: Conor Cummins to miss opening TT races

Team boss confirms rider in hospital with infection

Conor Cummins has been ruled out of the opening races of TT 2023.

Milenco by Padgett's Motorcycles team boss Clive Padgett spoke to Radio TT about the situation:

As a result, Padgett said Cummins is now on a 'medical stop' until Monday evening (5 June).

It means the 'Ramsey Rocket' will miss the Supersport TT Race 1 tomorrow (3 June) and the Superbike Race on Sunday (4 June).

Cummins also posted an update from hospital on his Instagram page with the caption 'this wasn't in the script'.
