Ramsey Rocket apologises to team, sponsors and supporters
Manx TT rider Conor Cummins has apologised to his team, sponsors and supporters after confirming he won’t race this weekend but says it is the ‘correct decision’.
The Milenco by Padgett’s Motorcycles racer won’t be taking part in the Supersport or Superbike races due to a viral illness.
He was hospitalised earlier this week and missed the final two qualifying sessions.
In a post on Twitter the Ramsey Rocket says his health ‘hasn’t been too clever’– describing the decision as ‘tough’ he says he’ll focus on returning to racing from Tuesday onwards.
Unfortunately my health hasn’t been too clever this week so I’ve taken the to tough decision the sit the first two races out and focus on Tuesday onwards. Sorry to my team,
