Single staff close contact returns negative test
A person who visited a furniture showroom in Braddan over the weekend has tested positive for Covid-19.
They visited B&B Furniture on 2 January, after which they returned a positive test.
Track and trace was initiated on 4 January, with the one staff member who came into contact with the infected person receiving a test, which has come back negative.
The employee is self-isolating now as precaution, with B&B taking the decision to close for a deep clean.
In a statement, the company is urging any customer who visited the store in the interim to contact 111 if symptoms develop.
