Division working to rectify the problem
There's an issue with the Income Tax Division phone line.
It says customers are experiencing difficulties connecting through to the team after calling 685400.
Some callers are said to be hearing the call ring out without it connecting automatically to a list of options.
Treasury says these calls are not being logged on the Income Tax call handling system and work is taking place to rectify the issue as soon as possible.
Anyone experiencing difficulties is asked to email incometax@gov.im instead.
The team is apologising to anyone affected.
