3.23 seconds knocked off previous lifetime best
David Mullarkey has set a new Manx record for the Men's 5,000m.
Running in the Commonwealth Games event final he broke the previous record, which he held, by 3.23 seconds.
David took it from 13:47.55 to 13:43.92.
He finished 12th in the field of 20.
