New measures launched by government
All strands of government need to be mindful of digital threats according to the MHK with responsibility for cyber security.
Dr Alex Allinson's been speaking after the introduction of a new cyber security strategy this week.
The document, developed by the Office of Cyber Security and Information Assurance (OCSIA), includes plans for education programmes, as well as further industry collaboration and support over cyber-related incidents.
Dr Allinson says the new strategy has been designed to deal with the evolving dangers of cyber crime:
