Event can help promote Manx heritage
The Director of Culture Vannin says she believes Cyclefest 2016 was a wonderful mix of sport and culture - and has potential to spread the word about the Island's unique heritage.
The first event of its kind was held in May of this year and was widely hailed as a great success.
Plans are now well underway for Cyclefest 2017.
Speaking on the News Review of the Year, Dr Breesha Maddrell says the organisers rightly decided the sporting event would be a great place to highlight Manx music and culture as well.
