Government to offer new incentives for active travel

An initiative outlined in the Manx budget to encourage more people to cycle to work using electric bikes has been welcomed.
Manx cycling ambassador Rob Holden is heartened by a change in government attitude over the last 18 months towards active travel and says the move is a step in the right direction.
Yesterday (21 Feb) Treasury Minister Alf Cannan revealed the benefit in kind incentive to support active travel will be extended to electric bikes.
Mr Holden says the next challenge is convincing those who wouldn't normally cycle to work to take part:
