Other festivals reportedly affected
One of the organisers of a major cycling event has responded to negative headlines in today's Manx Independent.
The paper leads with criticism of the Cycle 360 Manx International Stage Race, claiming it will impact a number of other community events also taking place this weekend.
Peel Carnival and Castletown Festival are reportedly set to be affected by road closures, while a vintage fair in Union Mills has been cancelled.
But co-event director Richard Fletcher says there will be a number of access corridors and crossing points:
