Hundreds of top prospects in the sport to take on two days of racing
Hundreds of some of the biggest prospects in cycling will descend on the Island for two days of racing this weekend.
The 2024 Isle of Man Youth and Junior Tour will take place across this Saturday and Sunday (4-5 May) featuring the next generation of competitors from the Isle of Man, UK and further afield.
In previous years the event has been a stepping stone for major Manx riders including Mark Cavendish, Peter Kennaugh, Lizzie Holden and Anna Christian.
Isle of Man cycling development officer, Rob Holden explains why he thinks this event is considered a standout occasion on the British Cycling calendar:
Road closures will be in place for the tour at Ellerslie and Jurby on Saturday and Sunday respectively - you find details of those HERE.
