Overtaking car thought to be responsible
Police are investigating after a cyclist was forced to take evasive action on the Mountain Road yesterday.
The man was in hi-vis clothing and was in the area of the Mountain Mile, cycling towards Ramsey, when the incident happened at around 9.25am.
Officers say someone driving a silver/grey-coloured vehicle overtook a car heading towards Douglas, causing the cyclist to go off the road.
They suffered minor injuries and were treated at Ramsey Cottage Hospital.
