Property developer refutes DoI claim that it still has work left to do
A property developer has responded to comments made by the infrastructure minister about its work on the Ballasalla bypass.
Tim Crookall stated in a Tynwald written answer that work on the route will be completed by Dandara in its own time and it's not a highways scheme.
The route will take traffic from the New Castletown Road, via the Rearyt Mie estate, avoiding the main road through the village.

However Dandara insists its work on the bypass is complete as required by planning conditions.
It adds that it's received no indication from the Department of Infrastructure when it will complete the roundabout and enable the bypass to be usable.
A statement from the company said: "Dandara has completed the bypass, as required by planning conditions, up to our site boundary with the roundabout.
"We have received no indication from the Department for Infrastructure when it will complete the roundabout and enable the bypass to be usable."
