Man in court over Castletown crash
Dangerous driver to be sentenced
A Ballaugh man charged with causing the death of his daughter by dangerous driving will be sentenced this afternoon (Friday).
Forty-six year-old Raymond French admits the charge in connection with a head-on crash in Castletown which killed his 10 year-old daughter, Alexis, in October 2013.
He also admits causing serious bodily harm to the driver of the bus, Donald Richard Faragher, by dangerous driving in the same collision.
French is due to be sentenced at Douglas Courthouse.
