Driving dangerously around the TT course cost a red Ferrari driver £5,000.
A Facebook post prompted police to seek out the owner, who appeared in court this week charged with the offence.
It resulted in a fine, and an 18 month disqualification from driving.
The Roads Policing Unit took to social media to say 'Manx roads are not part of a race track when roads are open'.
