Local boxer aiming to run up it 14 times in 2-3 days
Local boxer Danny Roberts has gone ahead with his challenge to run up the height of Mount Everest this weekend - despite the weather conditions.
He's covering the climb by going up Snaefell from Laxey beach fourteen times, and started this morning at 8am.
He's doing it to raise money and awareness for local charities Huntington's Disease IoM and REACH IoM.
Here's the moment he completed his first circuit:

Manx Radio is receiving regular live updates on his progress.
