The head of an Island drugs advice charity has praised a local trader after they agreed to stop selling nitrous oxide to people who may abuse it.
Shelly Stanley of the Drug Advice Service and Helpline says since she was interviewed on Manx Radio about laughing gas misuse on the Island, she’s had a positive response.
As she arrived at work earlier this week, she found nitrous oxide canisters and balloons in a car park - indicators someone had been taking the gas there.
But she says although it’s still available online, a local shop was so concerned it got in touch:
