Davy Knowles says he was baffled but honoured that so many people turned out to see him play at the Gaiety theatre last night (Mon 9).
The Manx blues-rock guitarist is back on the Island to catch up with family and friends and begin filming a documentary about Manx music for the Year of Culture.
Davy was joined on stage for four songs by former Whitesnake guitarist Bernie Marsden.
After the sell-out gig Davy said he was 'choked-up' to see the amount of local support for him.
During his set he played a song he's written for the Year of Culture, and told us he's really looking forward to the 2014 celebrations:
