A Douglas councillor has described the atmosphere in Edinburgh as 'one of saddness'.
Frank Schuengel, and his family, are in the Scottish capital as part of a road trip around Scotland.
But following the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, Our Lord of Mann, they have decided to stay in Edinburgh for a few more days.

Mr Schuengel told Manx Radio hundreds of people, both local and from overseas, have made their way to pay their respects:
