Douglas Borough Council looks to appoint independent member
Douglas Borough Council is looking to appoint its first ever independent member on the Housing Committee.
The committee, which is also made up of five councillors, wants a new appointment to bring an objective and independent perspective to its deliberations.
More than 2,300 social housing properties are in the corporation's portfolio.
