The Department of Community, Culture and Leisure is disputing a union official's claim a deal which could have ended the bus dispute was withdrawn.
Unite's National Officer for Passenger Transport Bobby Morton has told Manx Radio an offer he received from the DCCL at the beginning of March would have likely been accepted.
He says that was withdrawn when the director of public transport, Ian Longworth, returned from holiday.
Minister Graham Cregeen says he’s disappointed by Mr Morton’s comments, as there’s never been an offer forthcoming:
