
Time is running out to air your views on setting up a credit union on the Island.
The Financial Supervision Commission launched a public consultation last month to get opinion ahead of the draft of a new Credit Union Bill - and the deadline is this Friday (March 13).
Despite being member-owned, credit unions offer many of the same services as other financial institutions.
Manx Credit Union Working Party Chairman David Talbot says the reputation of the banks is not the driving force behind establishing a credit union on the Island:
