Chris Thomas urging former employees to apply
A Douglas MHK hopes former Steam Packet employees will consider joining the company 'to take it back to its glory days'.
Sunday marks the final chance for people to send their applications for the position of chairperson of the freight company.
Chris Thomas says before the Manx government decided to buy the company in 2016 there were plans to increase the Island's fleet of vessels and expand and introduce new routes.
The former infrastructure minister thinks by bringing back shipping expertise and working with the private sector the Island could expand its sea services in the Irish Sea:
