Dr Allinson says there is a 'sense of profound sadness' on the Island
The Treasury Minister says news of the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, Our Lord of Mann, came as 'an awful shock'.
Dr Alex Allinson has been paying tribute to the monarch following her death at the age of 96.
The Ramsey MHK says the Council of Ministers was meeting yesterday when news of the Queen's ill health broke.
Speaking on the Mannin Line, he said it's a sad occasion for the Island:
