A string of new measures are being used by the Department of Education and Children to attract new teachers to the Isle of Man.
These include rent subsidies, relocation packages and 'golden hellos' - additional payments for those in their second and third years of full-time employment.
37 teaching posts remain unfilled at schools across the Island - they're occupied by supply teachers or staff who usual teach a different subject.
Education Minister Graham Cregeen says his department has also been working with UK recruitment agency 'Hays' to promote teaching on Island.
