Union boss condemns 'unrealistic' approach
A union boss has condemned what she calls an 'unrealistic' approach to public sector pay.
Manx nurses, civil servants and manual workers were all awarded pay rises last month, following months of disagreement and arbitration with government.
It's in excess of a 1% cap on wage increases seen across in the UK.
But Prospect head Angela Moffatt claims there is an increasing disdain for the public sector, perpetuated by years of austerity politics - and negotiations are getting harder to manage.
She's calling for less hostility towards the sector:
