Lib Van member says IoM currently too Douglas centric
A newly-elected MHK is keen to see more businesses established in town's outside the Island's capital.
Ramsey member Lawrie Hooper will raise the issue in next week's House of Keys sitting.
The news comes after a local bookshop in the constituency closed its doors for the last time on Friday.
Mr Hooper believes the economy will thrive if regions outside Douglas receive investment.
He thinks, at present, the Island is too Douglas centric.
