Minister mindful of upcoming major events
The Department of Economic Development is working with the Department of Infrastructure to try and minimise the impact of Citywing going into liquidation.
Economic Development Minister Laurence Skelly says that's in terms of helping both staff and passengers who are affected.
The ticket seller's collapse has meant the loss of five routes - Belfast, Blackpool, Glasgow, Gloucester and Newcastle.
Mr Skelly says the departments are in the early stages of talks with other operators:
