Cronky show raises money for Multiple Sclerosis IOM
Deemster Doyle is taking on one of his more important if occasional roles this afternoon (Thurs).
He's opening the 22nd Cronk y Voddy Ploughing Society Flower and Produce Show and Big Spud Weigh in at 3pm.
The traditional event takes place in the marquee at Ballakaighen and sees classes for everything from heaviest turnip to best Victoria Sandwich made by a man.
The evening's event get underway at 7pm with a prize presentation at 8pm, followed by an auction of produce by renowned auctioneer Peter Quayle.
Admission is free.
All are welcome and proceeds go to the Isle of Man branch of the Multiple Sclerosis Society.
