If there is demand the department would look to make it permanent
Planning permission is being sought for another food vendor in a Manx plantation.
The Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture is offering a five year lease, the same as the application for Chibbanagh, for a local catering van to be set up in the car park at Archallagan.
DEFA says it would be used by people visiting the plantation and adds it expects Manx produce to be used.
If approved the business would operate during the day and if there is a demand the department says it would consider the development of a permanent facility.
