Clare Barber says money spent has gone directly to Manx homes
Considerable work has been undertaken to mitigate the effects of climate change on the Island.
That's the message from Environment, Food and Agriculture Minister Clare Barber, who's defended the work of the Climate Change Transformation team in progressing projects around the Island.
Examples of schemes undertaken include the Peatland Restoration Project and the Blue Carbon Research project.
The minister, who presented the transformation team's fourth report to Tynwald this week, says the majority of money spent by the team has gone directly into Manx homes:
