Few discussions between DEFA and Ramsey Bakery before announcement
The environment, food and agriculture minister says neither she, or her officers, had discussions with Ramsey Bakery since last year's General Election.
The firm is due to close its operations at the end of the month - citing a changing marketplace and challenges of sourcing adequate and affordable resources as reasons.
Clare Barber says, along with the chief minister, the announcement on Saturday came as a complete surprise:
