Members of the UK Radon Council will be in attendance
Are you aware of the hidden risks posed by naturally occurring radon gas and how you can mitigate them?
The Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture is inviting residents to a free workshop today (19 November).
Attendees will learn how to safeguard their 'projects, properties, and people' from the potential hazard.
The day will feature talks from Dr Paul McKenna, DEFA’s radon project leader and John Naylor and Andy Collins from the UK Radon Council.
The session will take place at the iMuseum, on Kingswood Grove, in Douglas.
It will begin at 9am, with attendees asked to register by 8.30am, and will finish at 1.30pm.
