'Unforeseen structural works' to blame
The newly-refurbished NSC swimming pool is now set to reopen a month later than expected.
'Unforeseen structural works' has been given as the reason for the delay, according to the Department of Education, Sport and Culture.
Both the competition and leisure pools have been closed to the public since August last year, with the £4.2m renovation initially expected to be completed in May.
However, the facility is now set to reopen to the public shortly after this year's TT fortnight.
