Issues found during sea trials
The Steam Packet says the Manxman won't be ready for June.
Testing carried out during routine sea trials has revealed additional work will be required to ensure the new vessel is up to specifications.
This will be carried out by the contractors and shipyard and will be followed by further trials.
It means there will be an impact on the delivery timeline of the vessel to the Steam Packet in South Korea and subsequently its arrival in Manx waters.
The Steam Packet says there will be no impact on existing or future bookings with all sailings carried out by the existing vessels in the fleet.
