Wet conditions have impacted this week's schedule
Contractors will make a third attempt to begin a maintenance programme on a number of the Island's roads today.
Several busy routes are due to undergo the first stage of surface dressing this week, but the wet conditions over the last two days have led to postponements.
The Department of Infrastructure says it's now hoped the Dalby to Roundtable Road will close between 7am and midday, the Poortown Road between midday and 5pm and South Quay in Douglas between 6pm and 7pm.
However, the work is weather dependent, so timings may change.
While the routes will be closed to through traffic, arrangements have been made to allow schools buses to operate.
