Over £16k raised on Steam Packet vessels
A record total, and much needed funds, have been raised for a charity which provides training and equipment for medical professionals involved in motorsport in the Isle of Man.
Just over £16,200 was collected for the Rob Vine Fund on board Steam Packet vessels during this year's TT fortnight.
The running total collected over the years now tops £220,000.
Dr David Stevens MBE is secretary and director of the fund.
He says besides all the training and support provided, just the upkeep of their equipment is a costly business:
