Boat unable to dock at Heysham for second day running
The Ben-my-Chree is on its way back to the Isle of Man after being unable to dock at Heysham due to fog.
The vessel left Douglas just after 9am this morning but couldn't enter the port because of the weather and subsequent tidal restrictions.
The Steam Packet Company says this left the master of the boat with 'no alternative' but to return – it's now due in at 5.30pm.
Tonight's 8pm crossing to Heysham is still showing as going ahead as normal.
