Manx Care in talks as waiting list continues to grow
Dentists on the Isle of Man could soon be paid more for NHS work, after concerns their rates have fallen 'way behind' those in the UK.
Manx Care says discussions are ongoing to tackle waiting lists, which stood at over 6,200 last month.
Chief Executive Teresa Cope says the situation presents 'real challenges' and acknowledges public frustration.
She also says dentists shouldn’t be expected to make a loss while providing NHS care:
