
The Island has one of the highest rates of obesity in Europe.
More than 50% of adults and 12% of reception class children are classed as over weight according to figures released by the Department of Health.
To combat the increasing problem, the department is launching its "Tackling Childhood Obesity" campaign - which aims to increase activeness in a child's early years, and encourage a healthy diet.
