Successful candidate will be paid up to £147,368
The Department of Education, Sport and Culture has started its search for a new chief officer.
A job advert for the role shows the department's top civil servant will be paid a salary between £131,142 to £147,368, with a £10,000 relocation package also available.
The position is described as "highly influential" and offers an opportunity to shape the future of education on the Island.
The successful candidate will take over from Graham Kinrade, who announced in December that he'll be retiring.
