MHK calls for clarity over future events
Government has denied it's 'walking away' from a popular creative writing competition started in memory of British novelist, and former MHK, Hall Caine.
Garff MHK Daphne Caine has questioned whether the event – open to all children in full time education – will return following the Covid pandemic.
Normally promoted by the Department of Education, Sport and Culture it is now overseen by Manx LitFest.
It's something Mrs Caine told DESC member Ann Corlett which doesn't seem right:
