Tony Brown says sport should sit in a separate department
A former chief minister says the expected recommendation to close the Southern Swimming Pool is proof the Department of Education, Sport and Culture's only focus is education.
A leaked letter sent to pool staff suggested a plan to close the facility permanently will be presented to Tynwald in February, subject to members' approval.
The move's said to be based purely on financial grounds.
