Minister makes pledge following committee appearance
The education minister says it's time for his department to 'lead the way' on early years services.
Graham Cregeen spoke about the issue after giving evidence to a scrutiny committee this week, along with the Department for Education, Sport and Culture's chief executive, Professor Ronald Barr.
Mr Cregeen admits the recent closure of some services offered by the Children's Centre has been a blow, but all those affected have now found replacements.
He says he can't promise parents cover for all ages, but solutions to an Island-wide shortage of places will be looked at:
