Proposed Parking Order for three Douglas sites
Changes could be made at three car parks in Douglas as part of efforts to stop vehicles being dumped.
A proposed Parking Order will give the department of education, sport and culture the power to regulate parking.
It wants to clamp down at the Bowl, the NSC and the Hills Meadow car park at University College Isle of Man.
It’s due to an increasing number of vehicles being abandoned often in various states of disrepair.
New regulations would see permits required for daytime parking at the three sites – appropriate badges would also need to be displayed in disabled bays.
