There's a chance today for Manx residents to find out more about the latest redevelopment plans for Douglas promenade.
A public display at the Sea Terminal will be staffed by an officer from the design team between 10am and 2pm, and again at the time on the following two Saturdays (23rd and 30th).
The display shows how a new 'shared space' layout would transform the promenade road and walkway, with traffic signs and signals, zebras crossings and lights all removed.
Roads and pavements are less clearly defined and greater priority is given to pedestrians.
Today (Saturday, May 16th) an officer from the design team is on hand to answer questions from members of the public.
