Agreement is still some way off
It's been confirmed a developer is looking at the Castle Mona Hotel in Douglas – but a deal is still some way off.
There have been conflicting reports about the state of repair of the famous building on Douglas promenade.
However, a report commissioned by Tynwald described its condition as ‘fair’.
Environment, Food and Agriculture Minister Geoffrey Boot says government is keen to avoid aquiring the building by default.
