Dentist says education on sugar intake and regular cleaning plays an important role in preventing dental issues
It's important children develop good oral health habits at an early age to prevent tooth decay.
That's from a dentist at Ballasalla-based Abbey Dental, after government said it wants to look into putting fluoride in the Island's drinking water.
It comes after a Tynwald committee investigating how government provides dental care to children on the Island called for improvements.
But Mark Hepworth says a good cleaning routine and limiting sugar intake have a big role to play in stopping dental issues developing:
