Options are currently being considered to expand the Isle of Man Prison.
The main building at the Jurby facility can accommodate 143 inmates, although the addition of 24 temporary cells has meant its total capacity is 167.
Addressing overcrowding issues has been a priority for the Department of Home Affairs in recent months, with alternatives to prison time already being considered.
Its chief executive, Dan Davies, has told Manx Radio it's now also exploring other ways of relieving pressures:
